About Conference:
The geological meeting at GeoKurdistan Conference becomes a scientific gathering of various ideas and recent identifications of earth science studies which encourages the researchers for participating and attending this event every two years. Since the first conference was established in 2012, this meeting has been progressed continuously and the quality of submitted works is enhanced in term of quality and quantity. This event is held by the Department of Geology (University of Sulaimani) in cooperation with the Geological Society of Kurdistan /Sulaimani branch, focusing on the geology of Kurdistan and surrounding areas. The organizing committee is honoured to invite and encourage all geoscientists throughout Kurdistan, Iraq, and abroad to participate in this conference.
